| Work Experience |
CCEL can arrange a work placement as an added feature of our Executive program. Executive students can experience Canadian business culture and interacting in a professional environment with peers in their own profession. The internship is designed for professionals who have experience or training that they can bring to a company in exchange for the opportunity to work alongside Canadians or on specific projects in a working environment. Placements are full time, Monday to Friday for one to four weeks and are arranged by a series of interviews and job searches by CCEL staff. Work experience placements are an opportunity to make connections with peers in your profession and to develop long-term friendships and networking.
I worked for 3 weeks with a computer IT firm doing research and assisting with project development. It was a valuable opportunity to understand the workings of a Canadian company
(27-year-old Computer Software Developer from Mexico)
Students can choose from one to four weeks for a work place experience and must study for an equivalent period of time.
- Each student is found a placement appropriate to their English level, experience, training, and education.
- Placements are available in most careers areas.
