CCEL can arrange for students to stay in a student residence for short or long term periods. This is a single room with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities in a good location in Downtown Vancouver. CCEL staff can also assist students, when they arrive in Vancouver, to find an apartment. Students may have to stay in a hotel until a suitable apartment is available.

 I want to be a homestay family
The College Homestay Coordinator can find Homestay families for Canadian College students. Students can request either a single room and 3 meals per day (shared bath), a double shared room and 2 meals per day (3 on weekends) or a single room and 3 meals per day (private bath). If there is another student in the Homestay they will speak a different language and have their own room. All families are screened and monitored. Special requests concerning religion, diet, allergies, etc. can be accommodated.

One of the family members is a teacher and tutors the student 2 hours per day Monday to Friday.

There is a large selection of hotels available in Vancouver with a range of quality and price. CCEL can arrange price effective weekly and monthly rates.

| Airport Pickup |
A college staff person can meet the student at the Vancouver airport and drive them to the Canadian College where they are introduced to the Homestay family. The Vancouver International Airport (YVR) web page is www.yvr.com.
