| Alla mattina gli studenti studiano inglese generale. La scuola è suddivisa in sei livelli, dall’elementare all’ultra avanzato. Il libro di testo usato dal livello elementare fino all’ultra intermedio è il New Headway (Oxford University Press), mentre nelle classi dal livello avanzato fino all’ultra avanzato (FCE, CAE, CPE) è il Cambridge Masterclass. Ad ogni livello gli studenti studiano leggendo, scrivendo, comunicando e imparando le varie strutture della lingua. |

Gli studenti registrati nel Intensive Program (24 ore per settimana), hanno la possibilità di scegliere un Elective course nel pomeriggio. Gli studenti che invece sono registrati nel Super Intensive Program (30 ore per settimana), hanno la possibilità di sceglierne due.
Gli Electives courses sono corsi specializzati che permettono allo studente di focalizzarsi su specifici bisogni o temi. Questi corsi includono: comunicazione, eventi correnti e media, business, grammatica, pronuncia, scrittura, ampliamento del vocabolario, TOEFL e TOEIC.

Durata del corso
Questi programmi possono durare da una a cinquanta settimane. Le classi iniziano ogni lunedì e gli studenti sono incoraggiati a scegliere un programma adeguato per il pomeriggio.

Dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle 8:30 alle 12:05. (18 ore per settimana)
Dal lunedì al giovedì, dalle 8:30 alle 14:40. Venerdì dalle 8:30 alle 12:05 (24 ore per settimana)

Teacher Profile - Kim Pilger
Kim Pilger received his Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in 2001. As a part of his degree program, he lived and worked in Mexico, Guatemala and Fiji. He has travelled and lived in 15 different countries and studied 5 different languages. He received his diploma in TESOL from Vancouver Community College in the spring of 2003. Since then he has taught at 3 different ESL schools in Vancouver. Kim has been teaching at CCEL since the spring of 2004. Although he teaches primarily at the intermediate and upper intermediate levels, he has taught all levels including specific skills classes in Pronunciation, TOEFL, Business and Writing. Kim enjoys travelling, studying different cultures and languages, and playing the piano and guitar. His future plans include travelling around the world and completing his Master’s degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. |
