Tennis Club runs every Monday in the summer time if the weather permitting. The Canadian College usually uses courts in Stanley Park, a 15-minute walk from the school. The school provides racquets and balls so all you need to do is be outside the college at 4pm on Monday and have lots of energy. Players are welcome from all levels so don’t feel intimidated if you have never played. Bring suitable footwear and clothes and be on time, because the courts fill up fast.
Location
The courts in Stanley Park are hard courts and are well maintained. There is also a practice wall near the second set of courts. If you hit a ball over the fence it is best to retrieve it immediately before it is lost forever. Of course you can play for as long as you want, but a couple of playing is usually enough. The ocean is less than a hundred metres from the courts so you can go for a swim after the game. Tennis is a free and fun activity, so come along and have fun!
