| Vancouver Walking Tour |
 |
The walking tour of Vancouver is the best way to get orientated with Vancouver streets and important locations. All CCEL students are invited to join the staff for a walking tour of Vancouver. The Staff will point out bus stops, banks, the post office, and lots of other shops and areas that the students will find interesting. |
| The Walk |
| The Staff will take different directions based on what students would like to see and based on the weather that day, however; on all trips we will point out the important streets, bus stops, banks, and other important information. Our most common trip starts at the school and goes to robson street, denman street and english bay. |
| Questions to ask your guide |
Since this may be your first experience in Vancouver you must make sure that you have adequate knowledge about the school and its surrounding areas. The CCEL staff will help you in anyway we can to make sure that you feel comfortable with the transit system and find your way around the city. Some good questions to ask your guide are the following:
-
Where is the bus stop to go to ________?
- Where can I buy _______?
- Where are the names of the local mountains?
- How is my English, and what are some good slang words?
- Where is Canada Place, Harbour Center, Gas Town, Yale Town, China Town, Metrotown?
- Where can I find a good (specific country) restaurant? |
