Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge
	There are many beautiful parks and wilderness in Vancouver and Lynn Valley park is one of the best. Hike through the woods and enjoy the fresh west coast air. To get into the woods you must cross a long suspension bridge shown in the picture. Make sure you hold on! Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge


Summer Beach Barbecue
	The CCEL staff plan 4 or 5 barbeques every summer for all the students and staff. We will go to second beach in Stanley Park where we will have volleyball, soccer, football, and other sports set up to play. It is a lot of fun and a must if you are studying here during summer time. Whistler
	Whistler Resort has been rated the number one resort in North American and world re-known as one of the best. Beginner to advanced skiers and snowboarders welcome. Whistler


Victoria
	This intimate, sophisticated seaside City is the vacation capital of Canada and the premiere tourist spot in the Pacific Northwest. Victoria is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island and sparkles in one of Canada's mildest climates. Victoria


Rocky Mountains
	The Rocky Mountain trip is a four day adventure. On the trip students see a variety wild life as well as beautiful mountain scenes and crystal clear glacier lakes. Rocky Mountains


Soccer
	Soccer is the most international sport in the world. Students from all over the world get a chance to test out the skills of other students from different parts of the world. You will also get to meet other students and practice you’re English on the field. Soccer


Bungee jumping
	Take a flying leap! Bungee jumping is a thrilling experience for the more extreme students. The Bungee Zone is located on Vancouver Island near Nanaimo. We take a scenic ferry ride from horseshoe bay in West Vancouver and were there!. Bungee jumping


Whale Watching
	Whale watching is a very popular activity on the west coast of British Columbia. People from all over the world come to BC to see the pods of Orca near Vancouver Island. This is a perfect weekend activity for students to check out. Whale Watching


Ski/ Snowboard
	Skiing in Vancouver is the perfect activity in the winter time. There are 3 local mountains and the world famous Whistler Mountain just an hour and a half away. Ski/ Snowboard


Bowen Island
	Bowen is a small island west of Vancouver. To get there you take a small ferry from horseshoe bay (shown in picture). The ferry crosses Howe Sound and docks in Bowen Bay, a small marina. On bowen there are lots of small shops, and great places for hiking and kayaking. Bowen Island


Vancouver Art Gallery
	The art gallery on Robson Street is a great place for art enthusiasts to check out while they are in Vancouver. There are lots of Canadian art exhibits and gallerys to walk through. Plan your trip for a thursday because the admission is by donation Vancouver Art Gallery


Movie Night
	Make sure you go to movie night with the CCEL student advisors to keep up with the pop culture in North America. Every tuesday night a new movie is posted at the school along with the meeting time and place. Some movie theaters have special glasses that allow for close captioning so you can read the dialog in english! Movie Night


Vancouver Club Night
	Its party time! Join CCEL staff and students every Thursday night for club night. We will chose one of the top night clubs in Vancouver and dance the night away with friends from the school. A great way to meet Canadians and practice your slang english. Vancouver Club Night


Grouse Mountain
	One of Vancouver's top rated attractions is at the peak of Vancouver at Grouse Mountain. Take a gondola ride to the top in only 8 min or go for a hike up the largest stair climb in the world! Grouse Mountain


Vancouver Walking Tour
	The Vancouver Walking tour is the best way for students to get oriented with Vancouver on there first day. Students will learn about where important stores and offices are located that are near to the School. Vancouver Walking Tour


Conversation Club
	Conversation Club is a weekly activity where students get together and discuss different topics with an each other and a CCEL teacher. Conversation Club


Tennis Club
	Tennis Club runs every Monday in the summer time if the weather permitting. The Canadian College usually uses courts in Stanley Park, a 15-minute walk from the school. The school provides racquets and balls so all you need to do is be outside the college at 4pm on Monday and have lots of energy. Tennis Club


Celebration of Light Fireworks Display
	Every year in August, Vancouver host a fire works competition called the Celebration of Light. The Canadian College is proud to bring over a hundred students every year to the end of Denman St to view the spectacular light demonstration. Fireworks Display
